White earthenware Sunfish on a base
Our bashful Sunfish surrounded by seaweed on the base, is sculpted in white earthenware. The clay is delicately stamped, then assembled by hand, and glazed to obtain an impeccable finish.
Thanks to the bestiary that was created by master ceramicist Léon Pouplard between 1890 and 1952, we have inherited a collection of exclusive sculptures of animals, birds and fish.
